Honorary Members For Life!

The Honorary Member for life Award is awarded to a select few. REALTOR® members of the State Association who have faithfully served the Association for a period of 25 years or more upon approval from C.A.R's Board of Directors are exempt from paying both State & National Association dues and assessments for the rest of their life. Honorary Member for Life recipients are still entitled to all rights and privileges of membership.

Allan Carlson

Allan -Real Estate Broker for many years with a vast experience in all areas of the real estate industry. Allan has been involved in the building of 60-80 homes in Fort Bragg over the last 40 years and a active Rotarian member and participant for the Fort Bragg Chapter. Allan was the first CMAR member to receive the Honorary Member-For-Life award.

Mavis Mathews

Mavis - 48th year in and out of real estate, she published her autobiography, Getting Lucky at Eighty, in 2007 and blog at www.lifeaftereighty.wordpress.com. Mavis has been with Penitenti/Petersen Realty since 1998, in Mendocino until 2004 and then in Fort Bragg. She is a writer, an astrologer, an editor, a great-grandmother and faring pretty well, considering.

Ben Booth

Ben - Born and raised in rural Adams County, Il. Joined the US Army, age 18, served for 26 years. Visited Mendocino Coast in 1974, moved here in 1975. Bought and subdivided land; built, rented and sold single family homes. Got Real Estate License; listed and sold Mendocino Coast property ever since. Served as Member of the Board, V.P. and President of CMAR. Met and married my lovely wife Barbara in1980. He plans to keep listing and selling real Estate as long as I am able to do so.

Carol Ann Walton

Carol Ann - A REALTOR® on the Mendocino Coast since 1984, all that time with Sea Cottage Real Estate. She has been active in all phases of real estate, having been involved in the construction of four major houses as well as three large apartment complexes before relocating to the Coast. She volunteers with a number of local non-profit organizations including the Kelley House Museum, Mendocino Coast Childrens Fund, Mendocino Study Club, Mendocino Coast Clinics, and Winesong for the hospital Foundation. Carol Ann served on the Board of Directors for the Mendocino Music Festival for eleven years, since its inception twenty-four years ago, and continues to the serve annually as the head cashier. She serves as a Chaplain for the Mendocino Coast District Hospital, and is on the Board of Directors for the Mendocino Christian Camp. She is a charter member (25 years) of Soroptimist International of Mendocino and serves on various leadership roles.

Doris Miller

Doris - Licensed Broker since 1974, and owner of Garden Ranch Real Estate. Past President of the Oroville AOR, Attorney since 1988, and Graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Doris has raised 4 children one of whom is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and member of CMAR.
